Impact of the southwest monsoon in Andhra Pradesh

The impact of the southwest monsoon is being felt across Andhra Pradesh, with the weather department forecasting thunderstorms accompanied by rain in several districts tomorrow. Light to moderate rainfall is expected in as many as 23 districts across the state.

Authorities have advised the public to remain alert during rainfall and avoid standing under trees or near large hoardings. People are also warned to stay away from snapped or hanging electric wires for safety reasons.
