Hyderabad’s Golden Ganesha Steals the Spotlight.. Made With Gold and Thousands of Diamonds!

A spectacular Ganesha idol installed at a Vinayaka Chavithi pandal in Begum Bazaar, Hyderabad, has become a special attraction for devotees. Unlike a regular idol, this magnificent Ganesha is reportedly made using 24-carat gold along with 3 lakh 880 American diamonds, giving it a dazzling appearance during the festival celebrations.

Brothers Anil Agarwal, Aadhar Agarwal and Nikhitesh Agarwal from the Feelkhana area of Begum Bazaar commissioned the idol and installed it at the pandal set up at their shop. The three-foot-tall idol weighs around 48 kg and was crafted by eight skilled artisans. According to the organizers, the golden Ganesha will be worshipped for 11 days as part of the Vinayaka Chavithi celebrations.
