Government Sets Final Deadline for eKYC

The Central Government has urged LPG consumers across the country to complete their eKYC verification process before June 30, 2026. The move is aimed at ensuring greater transparency and efficiency in the distribution of LPG subsidies and preventing misuse of government benefits.

The directive is particularly important for beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY). Officials have warned that consumers who fail to complete their eKYC verification within the stipulated deadline may face suspension of their LPG subsidy benefits. Eligible beneficiaries are advised to complete the process at the earliest to avoid any disruption in subsidy payments.
