The Godavari River has reached a critical level in Mulugu district following continuous heavy inflows, leading authorities to issue the third flood warning at Ramannagudem in Mangapet mandal. Officials have advised residents of low-lying villages to remain alert as water levels continue to rise. Evacuation measures have already begun in vulnerable areas to ensure public safety.
Several families have been shifted to rehabilitation centres as a precautionary measure, while floodwaters have severely affected transportation in the region. Road connectivity to many villages has been disrupted, making movement difficult for residents. Disaster response teams remain on alert and are closely monitoring the flood situation.
