Former Cricketer Sreesanth’s Father Passes Away

V. Santhakumaran Nair, father of former Indian cricketer S. Sreesanth, passed away at the age of 89 on Friday night, September 11. He was undergoing treatment at Lisie Hospital in Kochi. A retired LIC Zonal Manager and native of Mathirappilly in Kothamangalam, he is survived by his family.

His body will be kept for public viewing at the family’s ancestral home in Kothamangalam on Sunday, September 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The final rites and funeral will be held at 4 p.m. in Kothamangalam. Condolences have been extended to Sreesanth and his family during this difficult time.
