First COVID-19 Case Reported in Tirupati

The first COVID-19 case has been officially reported in Tirupati. A 65-year-old woman residing in the Tirupati Urban area tested positive for the virus after undergoing a COVID-19 test on July 23. The positive result was confirmed the following day, prompting immediate medical attention.

The patient is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital, and doctors have confirmed that her condition remains stable. As a precautionary measure, health officials tested her family members as well. According to the district medical department, none of them have shown any symptoms of COVID-19, and authorities continue to monitor the situation closely.
