South African Olympic champion swimmer Chad Le Clos revealed that his home was completely destroyed in a recent fire accident. The 34 year old swimmer won a bronze medal in the men’s 4×100m medley relay at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games, marking his record 21st medal in Commonwealth Games history.
While celebrating the achievement, Le Clos faced a major setback as a fire broke out at his apartment block in Cape Town on July 31. He expressed his grief on social media, stating that the apartment where he had lived for a decade was completely destroyed in the blaze.
