ED Conducts Fresh Searches in Hyderabad

The agency’s Kolkata unit is conducting searches at premises linked to AMR India Limited in connection with a case originating from Jharkhand. The searches are part of an ongoing probe into the business interests of industrialist A. Mahesh Reddy and his family.

A special team from Kolkata is carrying out the searches at the Hyderabad premises. The investigation is reportedly focused on financial irregularities and suspected money-laundering activities linked to companies associated with the group. Officials are examining records and other material as part of the ongoing probe.
