Schools across Andhra Pradesh are scheduled to observe the Dussehra vacation from October 12 to October 21. Since October 10 is the second Saturday and October 11 is Sunday, students will effectively get a longer break beginning October 10. Schools are expected to resume regular academic activities from October 22.

The holiday schedule may vary slightly for Christian aided schools because of their separate Christmas vacation arrangements. Meanwhile, schools in Telangana are scheduled to observe Dussehra holidays from October 10 to October 22.
