The Karnataka government has announced good news for vehicle owners by offering a 50 percent discount on pending traffic e-challans. District Sessions Judge Usharani stated that this concession applies to traffic e-challans registered by the police department in May 2026, as well as challans recorded by the transport department between 1991 and 2022. She urged motorists to make the most of this opportunity and clear their dues within the stipulated time.
With the 50 percent rebate, citizens can pay their pending challans from June 21 to July 10. Officials emphasized that this initiative aims to encourage compliance and reduce the backlog of unpaid fines. Vehicle owners across the state are expected to benefit significantly from this limited-time offer.
