Devotees Continue Bonam Procession Amid Rain Near Golconda

Bonalu celebrations continued with great devotion in Hyderabad despite rainfall in the Golconda area. Devotees carrying traditional Bonams remained undeterred by the showers as they proceeded in a grand procession from Lal Darwaza towards the historic Golconda Fort, chanting devotional hymns and participating in the annual festival with enthusiasm.

The first ceremonial Bonam is expected to be offered atop Golconda Fort by evening, marking one of the key highlights of the Bonalu celebrations. Authorities have made necessary arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the festivities despite the weather, while thousands of devotees continue to take part in the spiritual event.
