Deendayal Upadhyaya’s Ideals Remain an Inspiration - Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla

Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla paid tribute to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya ahead of his birth anniversary on September 25. The Governor described Upadhyaya as a great patriot, visionary thinker and dedicated servant of the nation. He recalled Upadhyaya’s commitment to the welfare of the poor and marginalised sections of society. Shukla said his philosophy of Integral Humanism and Antyodaya, which emphasises extending the benefits of development to the last person in society, continues to provide direction for inclusive development and self-reliance.

The Governor said Deendayal Upadhyaya’s simple lifestyle, spirit of sacrifice, commitment to national service and unwavering devotion to the motherland continue to inspire generations. He called upon people to rededicate themselves to the ideals of Upadhyaya with compassion, sincerity and a spirit of service. Shukla urged everyone to contribute towards building a strong, inclusive and self-reliant India.
