Telangana Rakshana Sena chief Kalvakuntla Kavitha alleged that the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) had become a centre for a 15% commission racket. In a post on X, she claimed that officials and contractors were being pressured by the CMO to pay a 15% commission for government works. She accused the Congress government of failing to deliver transparent governance and alleged that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was favouring his associates by bypassing rules and awarding major projects to allegedly ineligible individuals.
Kavitha also raised allegations of third-degree torture against Dalit journalists in Gambhiraopet, Rajanna Sircilla district. She demanded that a case be registered under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act against Sub-Inspector Srikanth and that he be arrested immediately. She alleged that the journalists were taken to the police station and brutally assaulted after reporting on alleged land irregularities and settlements involving the officer. Kavitha urged the Director General of Police to intervene immediately, register cases against the officers responsible and ensure strict action.
