Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said it is the government’s responsibility to recognise the sacrifices of Telangana movement activists and ensure they receive due recognition. Members of the Telangana Movement Activists Identification Committee, including Keshava Rao, Kodandaram, Ramulu Naik and Mothe Shobhan Reddy, met the Chief Minister. They submitted a report detailing consultations held with various JACs. The CM directed the committee to complete the identification process without delay.
The committee said Revanth Reddy suggested setting up a dedicated website to receive digital applications from movement activists. It also stated that the Chief Minister was positive about providing 250 square yards of land, pensions, health cards and free bus travel to eligible activists. Further steps on these benefits are expected after the identification process is completed.
