Assembly and Council Sessions to Begin on September 7

The Telangana Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council Secretariat has officially announced the dates for the upcoming sessions. The sessions of both Houses will begin at 10 a.m. on September 7, according to separate circulars issued by Assembly Secretary Tirupati and Council Secretary Narasimha Charyulu. The sessions are likely to continue until September 9 or 10.

During the sessions, the government is expected to introduce a key resolution seeking to reduce the minimum age for candidates contesting Lok Sabha and Assembly elections from 25 to 21 years. Members who wish to raise questions in the Houses have been asked to submit them in writing to the Assembly and Council secretaries by September 2.
