BRS Begins Preparations for MLC Elections..

BRS working president K T Rama Rao and senior party leader T Harish Rao held a meeting at Telangana Bhavan to discuss preparations for the upcoming Graduate MLC elections. The leaders discussed the election strategy with former ministers from the erstwhile Hyderabad-Rangareddy-Mahabubnagar districts. The party is also planning meetings with MLAs and former MLAs from the districts where elections are expected to be held to chalk out a detailed action plan. Current Graduate MLC constituency details are listed on the Telangana government portal.

The BRS leadership directed party leaders to treat the MLC elections as an important organisational exercise and begin preparations well in advance. Particular focus was placed on the enrolment of eligible graduate voters. The meeting also discussed the party’s proposed activities and constituency-wise planning across the erstwhile districts. BRS leaders expressed the view that there is opposition to the Congress government among students, unemployed youth, government employees and graduates. Further meetings with legislators and former legislators are expected as part of the election preparations.
