Banking services at physical branches are set to remain closed for four consecutive days from Friday, September 11, to Monday, September 14, according to the holiday and strike schedule provided. Bank employees are scheduled to participate in a nationwide strike on September 11. The following day, September 12, is the second Saturday, when banks remain closed as per the regular holiday schedule. September 13 falls on a Sunday, which is also a weekly holiday.
The four-day closure will continue on September 14 due to the Vinayaka Chavithi holiday listed in the schedule. Banks are expected to resume normal branch operations from Tuesday, September 15. Customers who need to visit branches for cash-related or other in-person services are advised to plan their transactions accordingly. Digital banking services such as internet banking, mobile banking and UPI may continue to be available, subject to the respective bank’s services and any temporary disruptions.
