Union Minister Bandi Sanjay launched a sharp attack on Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy over his recent comments on increasing youth participation in politics. He alleged that Congress should not present senior leaders as representatives of the Gen Z generation. Sanjay suggested that if the government was serious about empowering youth, it should appoint genuinely young leaders by reallocating important ministerial portfolios such as Education and Home.
The BJP leader also targeted the financial policies of successive state governments. He stated that the BRS government maintained cordial relations with the Centre during its first term but later entered into confrontations, resulting in heavy borrowings. He further alleged that the present Congress government has also accumulated significant debt within a short period and urged the state to focus on responsible governance instead of political narratives.
