Andhra Pradesh Biodiversity Board Chairman Vijay Kumar alleged that large scale irregularities took place in the Secretariat recruitment process conducted in 2019 during the YSRCP government. Speaking at the TDP central office, he claimed that deserving unemployed candidates were deprived of opportunities while jobs were allegedly given to favored individuals. He also accused YSRCP leaders of making politically motivated allegations against the coalition government's recently conducted DSC recruitment process.
Vijay Kumar questioned certain recruitment results from the 2019 Secretariat examinations, citing the case of an outsourcing employee working in the APPSC examination section who reportedly secured 112.5 marks out of 150 and achieved the State First Rank in the Panchayat Secretary Grade-5 examination. He also raised questions regarding candidates who secured top ranks in different categories and referred to earlier statements that allegedly claimed 90 percent of jobs had gone to party supporters. He urged YSRCP leaders to stop making allegations against the coalition government.
