Actress Rukmini Vasanth Expresses Anger Over AI Deepfake Videos

Actress Rukmini Vasanth of ‘Kantara’ fame clarified that viral bikini photos and videos circulating in her name on social media are entirely AI-generated fake content. She strongly condemned the misuse of her identity and privacy and stated that legal action has been initiated against those responsible.

Following her complaint to the Bengaluru Cyber Crime Police, a case was registered under the IT Act and BNS sections. Authorities arrested three individuals and seized mobile phones used in the creation of the content. The incident has raised growing concern over the misuse of AI deepfake technology in the entertainment industry.
