A new chapter in the history of aviation....

Australia's national carrier Qantas Airways has set a new aviation record with its experimental Airbus A350-1000ULR aircraft. The plane flew non stop for 24 hours and 24 minutes, covering 23,075 kilometers from Melbourne, Australia, to Toulouse, France, surpassing the previous long haul record set by a Boeing 777 in 2005.

The test flight was conducted under Project Sunrise, which aims to launch non stop commercial services from Sydney and Melbourne to London and New York by 2027. Only 12 people were on board, including Airbus test crew, Qantas pilots, and Airbus engineers. The specially designed aircraft features ultra long range capability and premium first class suites for passenger comfort on extended flights.
