

India's gross GST collections for July 2026 reached ₹2,11,205 crore, registering a 15.4% growth compared to ₹1,83,065 crore collected in July 2025. GST revenue from domestic transactions increased by 10.1%, while GST collected from imports recorded a sharp 28.8% growth, reflecting strong economic activity.
After adjusting refunds, the net GST revenue stood at ₹1,81,237 crore, marking a 15.8% increase over the previous year. Total GST refunds amounted to ₹29,968 crore, which was 13.1% higher than the corresponding period last year.
Among the states, Telangana recorded an impressive 19% growth in GST collections. The state generated ₹5,819 crore in July 2026, compared to ₹4,871 crore in July 2025. From April to July of the current financial year, Telangana's post-settlement SGST collections reached ₹17,437 crore, registering a 20% increase, making it one of the best-performing states in GST revenue growth.
