Infosys has been allotted 20 acres of land in Visakhapatnam by the Andhra Pradesh government to establish a major technology campus. The land, located in Endada, has been allocated at a nominal price of 99 paise per acre, with official government orders issued to formalize the decision. This move is aimed at strengthening the state’s position as a growing IT and technology hub.
Infosys plans to invest ₹750 crore in developing a state-of-the-art green campus powered entirely by renewable energy. The proposed facility is expected to generate around 7,000 jobs, significantly boosting employment opportunities in the region. The project aligns with sustainable development goals while contributing to the expansion of the IT ecosystem in Visakhapatnam.
