Gold prices witnessed another sharp increase in the domestic bullion market. The price of 24-carat gold rose by ₹820, taking the rate of 10 grams to ₹1,44,330. Meanwhile, 22-carat gold gained ₹750, with the price of 10 grams reaching ₹1,32,300. The continued rise in gold prices has added to the concerns of jewellery buyers and investors.
Silver prices also remained firm. In Hyderabad, the price of one kilogram of silver stood at ₹2.35 lakh. Market experts attribute the increase in bullion prices to global market trends, fluctuations in the US dollar, and sustained investment demand for precious metals.
