Gold and Silver Prices Drop, Providing Relief to the Public

In international markets, the price of 24-carat gold for 10 grams dropped by ₹8,230, reaching ₹1,70,620. Similarly, 22-carat gold for 10 grams fell by ₹7,550, closing at ₹1,56,400. The pressure in global markets, along with the impact of interest rates maintained by the U.S. Federal Reserve, influenced domestic bullion prices.

Silver prices also saw a decline. The price per kilogram dropped by ₹10,000, reaching ₹4,15,000. Changes in global demand and fluctuations in the dollar exchange rate were key factors affecting silver prices. According to market analysts, due to these volatile conditions, buyers are still proceeding cautiously with their strategies.
