Foundation Stone Laid for Carrier AC Plant in Sri City

Investment flow continues to strengthen in Andhra Pradesh as leading US based air conditioner manufacturer Carrier is set to establish a new production facility in the state. The foundation stone for the project will be laid by Minister Nara Lokesh in Sri City, Tirupati district, tomorrow.

The project involves an investment of around ₹1,000 crore and will be developed in three phases by 2028. It is expected to generate employment for nearly 3,000 people. Equipped with advanced technology and infrastructure, the plant is set to boost the state’s industrial growth and manufacturing capacity.
