TCA sends notices to HCA

The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) has received a notice from the Telangana Cricket Association (TCA) seeking clarification on the approval status of the TG 20 League. TCA has questioned whether the league has valid authorization from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

TCA has also demanded written clarification, approval documents, and reference numbers, alleging that incorrect claims regarding BCCI approval are being circulated. Citing the 2021 BCCI guidelines, TCA stated that both bodies must coordinate. Meanwhile, TCA has announced plans to launch the TPL in June, escalating the administrative dispute in Telangana cricket.
