Tamil Nadu Government Honours Gold Medallist Kamalini

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay has announced a cash reward of ₹75 lakh for Madurai-born cricketer G. Kamalini following her historic Asian Games gold medal triumph with the Indian women’s cricket team. India successfully defended its title by defeating Sri Lanka by 147 runs in the T20 final at Aichi-Nagoya.

The Chief Minister said Kamalini’s achievement would inspire the youth and women of Tamil Nadu. Kamalini expressed her gratitude to the Chief Minister and the Tamil Nadu government for their continued support and encouragement.
