TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee's residence was attacked. He alleged that his house in Kalighat was attacked by BJP supporters in the early hours of Saturday. The police intervened and dispersed the protesters and brought the situation under control. Abhishek alleged that BJP supporters pelted stones at his house at around 2 am on Friday and a recce was held for two days. He said that the police and the court did not intervene even though he had complained that he was being attacked.
