India's star shuttler PV Sindhu bowed out of the China Open after a hard-fought three-game contest against China's Chen Yufei. Sindhu won the opening game but could not maintain her momentum as Chen staged a strong comeback to clinch the match 16-21, 22-20, 21-18.
The marathon encounter lasted over an hour, with both players producing high-quality badminton throughout the match. Despite Sindhu's spirited performance and determined fight, she fell short of victory, bringing her China Open campaign to an end.
