Restaurants and Pubs to Remain Open Until Early Morning

The Karnataka government has taken a significant decision to allow football fans in Bengaluru to enjoy FIFA World Cup 2026 live screenings. The government has extended the operating hours of restaurants, cafes, and pubs in the city to facilitate live match screenings.

Under the new permission, selected restaurants, cafes, and pubs in Bengaluru can remain open until 3:30 AM to accommodate fans watching late-night FIFA World Cup matches. Officials stated that the move aims to provide better entertainment facilities and enhance the viewing experience for football enthusiasts.
