

India pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah enjoyed a memorable return to ODI cricket after 968 days by delivering a record-breaking performance in the first ODI against England. The star pacer dismissed England captain Harry Brook to become the highest Indian wicket-taker in ODIs played in England, surpassing Ravindra Jadeja's previous record of 30 wickets with his 31st scalp.
Bumrah also reached the landmark of 150 ODI wickets during the match. He became the third-fastest Indian bowler to achieve the milestone in terms of deliveries bowled, reaching the mark in 4,605 balls. Mohammed Shami (4,070 balls) and Kuldeep Yadav (4,513 balls) remain ahead of him on the elite list, further highlighting Bumrah's consistency and impact in international cricket.
