PV Sindhu made an impressive start to her Japan Open campaign by registering a comfortable victory in the women's singles first round. The Indian shuttler defeated Malaysia's Wong Ling in straight games, winning 21-14, 21-11 with a composed and dominant performance throughout the match.
Sindhu maintained control from the beginning, displaying aggressive stroke play and excellent court coverage. With this convincing win, she advanced to the second round and will now look to carry her momentum forward as she aims for a strong run in the prestigious BWF tournament.
