Batting first, the Rajasthan Royals posted a total of 214 runs for the loss of six wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Young sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi played a blistering innings, scoring 96 runs off just 47 balls. Ravindra Jadeja remained unbeaten on 45 runs, while Donovan Ferreira provided a late surge, smashing 38 runs off merely 11 balls to propel the team to a formidable total. Among the Gujarat bowlers, Kagiso Rabada and Jason Holder claimed two wickets each.
Setting out to chase the target of 215 runs, Gujarat was provided with a brilliant start by Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill. They established a massive 167-run partnership for the first wicket, completely swinging the match in Gujarat's favor. Sai Sudharsan contributed 58 runs, while Captain Gill emerged as the match hero, scoring 104 runs off just 53 balls. His innings featured 15 fours and 3 sixes. With Rahul Tewatia scoring runs rapidly towards the end, Gujarat chased down the target with ease.
