Vaibhav Suryavanshi continued his sensational form in IPL 2026, producing a record-breaking season filled with remarkable performances. However, the young batter heartbreakingly missed out on three centuries in his last few innings, getting dismissed in the 90s on multiple occasions, including scores of 93, 97, and 96. In recent matches, he fell short against Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad despite being in dominant touch.
Despite the missed milestones, Vaibhav created history by becoming the fastest Indian to reach 1,000 IPL runs in just 23 innings, maintaining a strike rate above 220. He also became the first uncapped batter to score over 700 runs in a single IPL season and crossed 500 runs in the powerplay alone this season. His explosive batting has marked him as one of the brightest emerging talents in IPL history.
