Asian Games 2026: India Wins Third Medal as Men’s 10m Air Rifle Team Secures Silver

India has secured its third medal at the Asian Games being held in Japan. Rudrankksh Patil, Parth Mane and Himanshu Dhillon won the silver medal in the men’s 10m air rifle team event with a score of 1890.1 points. The Indian trio narrowly missed out on gold, with China finishing first with 1899 points. In the individual event, Himanshu and Rudrankksh also reached the final, where Himanshu claimed silver and Rudrankksh secured bronze.

India added another medal in mixed martial arts, with Suchika Tariyal winning bronze in the women’s 60kg category. Suchika was defeated by Singapore’s Hui Hoon Teo in the semifinal, ending her run with a bronze medal. Meanwhile, India’s women’s table tennis team advanced to the quarterfinals after defeating Pakistan and finished at the top of Group F. The latest results have further strengthened India’s medal tally at the Asian Games.
