

Hyderabad opener Aman Rao delivered a sensational performance in the Vijay Hazare Trophy match against West Bengal, scoring an unbeaten 200 at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot. He reached the landmark in style, clearing the boundary for a six, leaving fans and experts impressed.
Born in the United States and raised in Hyderabad, Aman turned his maiden List-A hundred into a double century in just his third match at this level a remarkable achievement for the 21-year-old. His composure and shot selection against quality bowling drew widespread praise.
Facing seasoned bowlers such as Mohammed Shami, Akash Deep, Mukesh Kumar and Shahbaz Ahmed, Aman dominated the attack with 12 fours and 13 sixes. His knock is now the highest individual score by a Hyderabad batter in List-A cricket.
This innings marked the ninth double century in Vijay Hazare Trophy history and made Aman the second player this season, after Odisha’s Swastik Samal, to achieve the feat. Powered by his innings, Hyderabad posted a massive 352/5.
With the ball, Mohammed Siraj led the charge, picking up 4 for 48, as Hyderabad bowled out West Bengal and sealed a commanding 107-run victory. This win is Hyderabad’s second of the tournament.
