This time, she appeared on the stage of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 10, rather than the Telugu edition. Actor Vijay Sethupathi, who has hosted the Tamil reality show in recent seasons, reportedly missed the weekend episodes due to a throat-related problem. Ramya took over the hosting duties in his absence and informed viewers about his health-related absence. The actress is no stranger to the Bigg Boss format: she previously hosted an episode of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 3 when Nagarjuna was unavailable and also appeared as a host on Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5 during Kamal Haasan’s absence.
