The High Court has delivered a setback to the government over the report submitted by the Justice P.C. Ghosh Commission on alleged irregularities in the Kaleshwaram Project. The court directed the authorities not to take any action based on the commission’s report, raising concerns over the procedures followed during the inquiry.
The report, which highlighted alleged irregularities in the project, was challenged in the High Court by K. Chandrashekar Rao and T. Harish Rao. The court observed that proper norms may not have been followed by the commission, leading to the current halt on further action.
