Revanth Reddy Meets Rajnath Singh

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi and expressed gratitude for the transfer of Defence Ministry land for the Gandhi Sarovar Project. During the meeting, the Chief Minister reiterated the state government's commitment to supporting key national and defence-related infrastructure projects. He assured full cooperation in matters related to land acquisition, utility shifting, and other requirements for the development of the Adilabad Airport project.

Revanth Reddy emphasized that the proposed Indian Air Force airport at Adilabad should be developed into a major aviation hub with world-class infrastructure. He requested support for establishing civil aviation terminal facilities, cargo operations, Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) units, and aircraft hangars alongside the Air Force terminal. Highlighting recent geopolitical developments in the Middle East, the Chief Minister stated that Adilabad could emerge as a strategic destination for global airlines to set up hangar facilities. He also urged the Defence Minister to expedite approval for a key DRDO/DRDL project proposed near Devarakadra in Mahabubnagar district.
