Latest Update on AP Local Elections

Andhra Pradesh State Election Commissioner (SEC) Anil Chandra Puneetha said that the local body elections in the state are likely to take another two months to be conducted. He stated that the election process will move forward only after getting clarity on key issues, including voter lists, reservations, and pending court cases.

The SEC further informed that necessary internal preparations for conducting the elections have already begun despite the delay. The commission is focusing on completing all required arrangements to ensure a smooth and transparent election process once the schedule is finalized.
