Kharge Questions Amit Shah Over Delhi Student Incident

Congress President and Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge, raised the issue of the alleged police action against students in Delhi during the Rajya Sabha proceedings. He alleged that students were subjected to a lathi charge and tear gas, and questioned why Union Home Minister Amit Shah had not made any statement on the incident.

Kharge held Amit Shah responsible for the incident and demanded that he address the House on the issue. BJP members strongly objected to Kharge’s remarks and sought their removal from the official records. Following the objections, the Rajya Sabha Chairman ordered that the disputed remarks be expunged from the proceedings.
