Kothapalli mandal. According to the information presented, 40 boats were damaged along the UPPADA coast, while another 117 boats belonging to UPPADA fishermen were damaged in coastal areas of Konaseema district. He urged the government to assess the losses and arrange compensation as early as possible. He also called for timely assistance to fishermen across the state who had lost boats, nets and other fishing equipment because of the cyclone.

He requested that the damage be assessed and eligible weavers receive cyclone relief. The Deputy Chief Minister praised Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for prioritising the protection of lives and property during the disaster. He appreciated the coordination among government departments, continuous monitoring of the situation, evacuation of people from vulnerable areas, arrangements at rehabilitation centres and the availability of emergency services.
