‘Jathiratnam’ Streams on ETV Win Today

‘Jathiratnam’, a film exploring the consequences of excessive belief in luck, omens and rituals, is set to stream on ETV Win today as part of its weekly ‘Kathasudha’ presentation. The story revolves around Vikram, who constantly calculates every decision based on luck, signs and traditional beliefs. His obsession continues even after marriage and eventually creates a dangerous situation for his family. A confrontation with a young man living next door becomes a turning point, forcing Vikram to reconsider his beliefs and understand what he has already lost by depending excessively on luck.

Directed by Vara Mullapudi, ‘Jathiratnam’ features Shashank, Raasi, Anvisha and Mani KLK in prominent roles. The film is jointly produced by Anupama Chandra Koduri and Sharath Chandra Reddy Gurrala. Its recently released trailer attracted attention with the central idea that destiny is sometimes shaped not by luck, but by the choices and actions people make. With a socially relevant theme presented through a family-oriented narrative, ‘Jathiratnam’ aims to make viewers reflect on the fine line between personal beliefs and allowing superstition to control important life decisions.
