‘Euphoria’ Movie Heads to Another OTT Platform!

Senior director Gunasekhar, known for making period films, recently tried a different approach with his latest movie Euphoria. The film was released in theatres earlier and later arrived on one OTT platform. Now, it is set to stream on another OTT platform as well. The makers have officially announced that Euphoria will be available for streaming on Aha from April 22.

The movie deals with serious issues seen in today’s society, such as drug abuse among youth and crimes against minors. Sara Arjun plays the lead role, while Bhumika Chawla and Gautham Vasudev Menon appear in important roles. The story follows Chaitra, a bright student preparing for civil services. One day, she visits a pub with her friend, where she meets a group of young men. Later, she becomes a victim of a brutal crime. The rest of the film focuses on whether she gets justice and how the case unfolds, especially as the accused belong to influential families.

Inspired by real-life incidents, the film includes some intense and disturbing scenes that sparked discussions among audiences. While it highlights serious social issues, certain sequences made viewers uncomfortable, making the film a topic of debate after its release.
