Dr. Sunitha, daughter of former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy, expressed dissatisfaction with the investigation conducted by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in her father's murder case. She alleged that the probe was not carried out thoroughly and that several important aspects were overlooked.
Speaking to the media at Pulivendula in Kadapa district, Sunitha said she feels justice has not been served in the case. According to her, the investigation largely relied on statements made by the accused, while key phone conversations that took place before and after the murder were not examined seriously.
She also questioned why a message sent by a person named Kiran Yadav to Arjun Reddy just minutes before the news of a witness suffering a heart attack surfaced was not investigated in detail, despite being a potentially crucial lead.
Sunitha further stated that she had submitted additional evidence both to the court and to the CBI, but those materials were not examined properly. She also claimed that former Chief Minister Jagan and his wife Bharati should have been questioned in connection with the case, but the agency has not done so.
Emphasizing her determination, Sunitha said she would continue her fight until justice is delivered and the full truth behind the case comes to light.
