The World Has Branded Me as a Rapist’s Daughter, Says Kuldeep Singh Sengar’s Daughter Ishita Sengar

A letter written by Ishita Sengar, daughter of Unnao rape case accused Kuldeep Singh Sengar, has become a topic of discussion across the country. In the letter, she expressed deep anguish over how society looks at her family because of the allegations against her father. She said the world has branded her only as a “rapist’s daughter”, which has caused her severe mental distress.

She also stated that her family remained silent with faith that the law would take its own course. However, she wrote that society is treating their silence as weakness, which has added to her pain.
