The AI Era Has Already Begun: CM Revanth Reddy

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy attended the India-AI Impact Summit 2026 held in Delhi. Speaking at the event, he said that new ideas and innovations have the power to transform people’s lives. He recalled how inventions like vaccines and airplanes changed the world. While humans have limitations, he noted that we are now witnessing the results of Artificial Intelligence, one of humanity’s greatest creations. He stated that AI is showing greater capabilities and that the AI era has already begun.

The Chief Minister explained that AI technology is influencing every sector. He highlighted its strong potential to support the agriculture sector. He also mentioned that AI startups in Telangana are making impressive progress. In addition, he requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to consider setting up a National AI Council, similar to the GST Council. He said such a body would help guide AI development across the country.
