In the TG phone-tapping case, former SIB Chief Prabhakar Rao faced a major setback in the Supreme Court. The apex court directed him to surrender at the Jubilee Hills Police Station. It clearly instructed that he must appear before the SIT investigation officer at 11 AM on Friday.
The bench led by Justice B.V. Nagarathna granted permission to the SIT to conduct custodial interrogation in the Telangana phone-tapping case. The court also directed that no physical harm should be caused to Prabhakar Rao during the investigation process.
