Prices Remain Unchanged But Bottle Sizes Are Changing

The Andhra Pradesh Excise Department has taken a key decision regarding liquor sales in the state. It has initiated steps to introduce new bottle sizes in addition to the existing categories available in the market. The department has also issued revised orders amending the earlier regulations.

At present, liquor is available in 90 ml, 180 ml, 375 ml, and 750 ml bottles. Considering consumer demand, the government has decided to introduce new 150 ml and 200 ml bottle sizes. However, officials clarified that there will be no change in liquor prices despite the introduction of new sizes. The move is expected to bring changes to the state’s liquor market.
